Well, Colten and I have been pretty busy over the last week or so. We've spent lots of time with family and celebrating the 24th of July. I will do a better blog post later but this is an awesome picture Colten's brother took of us while on a 4-wheeler ride.

Last weekend was a lot of fun, especially for Colten. His mission president came home from Russia and was having a get-together for all the missionaries on Saturday night and then speaking in church on Sunday. Before the reunion we had the chance to go to the Draper Temple. It was so beautiful! As were the homes surrounding it. (We took a few pictures of them.) Then we went down to Orem for the reunion, stopping by Del Taco on the way and both of us getting sick afterwards. It's a good thing we gave ourselves a few hours before the reunion started. Once the reunion started I felt really awkward and dumb cause I didn't know anyone. By the end of the night it was really fun. I had met and visited with a lot of the guys I had heard a little about in letters from Colten. He had a great time and I didn't think I was going to get him to leave. The following morning we went to church and all the missionaries sang a musical number, "Ye Elders of Israel" in Russian of course. It was awesome to see 60 to 70 returned missionaries up on the stand singing.

Following church, I talked Colten in to going on a ride up to Heber City, since I have only been there once. That ride eventually led into a drive through a bunch of towns that I had never been in. It started with Kamas, then Oakley, onto Coalville, all the way up to Evanstan, WY., and back down to Huntsville, UT. It was so fun to just drive through places I have never been before.

These are the only pictures I got of Colten and his friends from the mission. They played a basketball game in President Harrison's back yard and the picture below was after there song practice in the Harrison's home.

Isn't it great...

...that we live in such a beautiful and free country that we can all enjoy CAMPING!

Colten and I celebrated the 4th of July with my family camping on Cedar Mountain (I swear that's all we ever do).
