Christmas Trees

Its been a long time since we have been able to join my family in their annual Christmas Tree extravaganza. It was so fun to be outdoors and the weather was perfect! We helped Justin and Haylee find a tree for one of his family members. Natalya and Ty both loved riding on the 4-wheelers.

Thanksgiving

After Colten's Step 2 test he took in Chicago we flew home to Utah. We were able to spend Thanksgiving with the Bracken Family down in Mesquite. How fun it was to be with family again. The kids loved it!

Chicago

As part of Colten's Medical licensing exam, he has to take a series of tests. The three test he has to take is an oral test and it is only offered in just a handful of cities across the country. Since Chicago was the closest to us and only a 6 hour drive, we decided to make a little weekend vacation out of it.  We left on a Friday night and arrived at our hotel in downtown around midnight. Kind of a shocker to me to see the partying night club life going on as we were carrying our two children into the hotel.

Anyways, we spent the entire next day walking all over downtown Chicago. Colten was awesome because he carried Ty in the backpack the whole day (and he's a chunky boy if ya didn't know). We first had breakfast at the Bongo Room. Delicious! Then we walked through Millennium Park and up to Navy Pier. We had dinner at Giordano's Pizza! Yummy Yummy! We saw the famous Bean and also went to the Christkindl Market. It was a long day full of lots of walking. We headed back to the hotel early and we all went to bed early.

Sunday morning we took a tour or the Willis tower and got to stand out on the glass ledge. Creepy! Later that day we headed to the mall and got to see Santa.

On Monday, Colten took his test and the kids and I just hung out at the mall and had lunch and played at Chick-Fil-A for a while. We then picked Colten up in the afternoon and flew to Las Vegas that night. My parents picked us up and we didn't get to Enterprise until 3 am!

Our poor kids have been dragged all over this weekend. But they still keep on being so dang cute!

November Fun

We got to go downtown and see the National Christmas Tree. This tree was cut down in Northern Minnesota and was making the journey to Washington D.C. We also got to sign our names on the side of the truck. It was was super cold day!

Daddy went hunting and Ty wanted to go so bad! :)

This girl is a funny sleeper. So funny she gets her own post about sleeping.

First snow storm and she was ready to shovel!

One of her favorite things to do it to take pictures of herself with my phone.

Lunch Date at Costco with these two girls to celebrate the end of Swim Lessons.
